I had the pleasure of designing another poster series down Market Street. This time for a program called Where Art Lives, "a pilot program of the San Francisco Arts Commission (SFAC) and the Department of Public Works (DPW) that focuses on graffiti arts education in grades 4th through 6th in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD)." Check out my new T-Shirt design here. I won a design contest within my department at school. We were asked to submit designs for a department T-Shirt design. It is a topographical map of San Francisco.
I worked with SFAC WritersCorps again this year to produce 8 books – 6 site publications, 1 urban walking tour booklet with poster series, and 1 city poet's guide. Fresh of the press are three site publications that I worked on for this school year with the San Francisco WritersCorps. They will be presented to the students at the Literary Festival: New Writing From the Heart of the Bay this coming Wednesday at the SF Main Public Library.
